The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of William Gaddis can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

As one of Bill's kids...

It wasn't always easy being one of Bill's kids.  He was a tough task master and it took all six of us to keep him sufficiently occupied so as to be able to indulge in the requisite antics maturing demands. I learned many of life's most important lessons from dad; the value of hard work and importance of self sufficiency and an appreciation for intelligence and for nature. I especially loved his wit which will be greatly missed.  Here's to you, dad; my life is less rich for your having gone.  Love, Anne.
